HAND SELECTED ACRYLICS BY STEPHEN QUILLER
I have been painting in water media for over forty years and am constantly looking for the best of acrylic paint. Paint that has luminous color, uses only pure pigments, only the best acrylic emulsion vehicle that has top permanency and lightfastness. There needs to be no additives or fillers such as extenders, opacifiers or dyes and the tubes need to be easy to open, close and store. The acrylic also needs to be compatible with other acrylics as well as the other water media. I have put together a list of colors that work with the twelve color Quiller palette and some added colors that I use from time to time that meet this standard. I am selecting this palette from two highly regarded companies, M. Graham and Golden. We also offer these colors at a good discount. M. Graham’s ultramarine violet is the only violet I have found that truly neutralizes out with the yellows.
